I helped wash my nieces clothes there the other day. The owner was busy fixing the machines and her employee was cleaning the machines and he helped my niece get her washers started. I usually go to Suds or Extra expensive Extra rude Muskegon laundry but for now on (or untill I get a washer and dryer) I'm going to Sunshine Laundry where the washer machines are clean and working and the staff members working also.

Update again5/16/23. New owners have done hreat at keeping a clean affordable and working laundrymat. They are always there now until posted times. (update 12/24/18)reduced to two stars as the sign on the door says last wash 3:30 and open till five Christmas eve. Its 1:20 pm and ive been turned away. Now my laundry s wet. And im scrambling to dry elsewhere. (Original post)I only use the dryers as I have a washing machine at my house. I have been here many times and while I agree that it could use some repairs, the dryers are cheaper than some of the others and fast. The staff has always been friendly and I personally have never seen pr smelled anyone smoking inside. It's always been clean too. Its Muskegon Heights and in a harder to access area. For what it is, I love it and its close to home.

We had a dryer fire and needed to do many, many loads of laundry. We also utilized their wash and fold service which is exceptional. Kelly took great care of us. She really cares about her position with the company and her clients. Thank you Kelly!

Crazy clean, attendant when I came during the day, coin-op, fair prices, enough parking... Can't ask for anything else! I'd definitely do laundry here again!!

Considering I really did not want to have to do laundry and just want my dryer and electrical right, it was a great experience for something I didn't really want to do. The place was clean. They have all new equipment. And it didn't take me near as long or cost me nearest as much as I thought to do a lot of laundry I could not dry. I didn't even know the place was over there and I was worried, I was happy when I left though. And Andrea, the owner was pleasant and talkative. She also owns the one on Sanford which I didn't feel like going to, but if this wasn't here I probably would after seeing the conditions of this place cuz she redid that she said and it was just as nice and clean. So for doing something you don't feel like doing this was a five-star experience. I don't feel so bad for having to go somewhere else to do rest of my laundry anymore.

I'm extremely impressed with this laundry mat!! Wow! 6 loader for $9.00!! I live in whitehall, and this is going to definitely be my "Go to laundry mat"!!! This place is very clean. And the attendant is always busy cleaning. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUNSHINE!! YOU CAN NOT BEAT THIE PRICES!! GOODBYE OTHER LAUNDRY MATS. HELLO SUNSHINE!!!!!! 10 STAR ALL THE WAY!!

Even though there were a few washers and dryers that were out of order, they still had plenty for you to use. The attendants were friendly and helpful.

Everytime I go very friendly service always clean never feel rushed and very accommodating no matter how busy. Always available ready to assist just a great atmosphere. I spend half as much as I do every where else.
